A dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree — Peugeot 208
Is your dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree? There's nothing quite like a broken wire for throwing a massive tantrum across the dash. This Peugeot 208 came to us covered in warning lights, and the temptation with a fault like that is to start swapping parts until something sticks. We don't work that way. Tracing it properly led us to a break in the wiring loom that was completely cutting off the ABS signal — no sensor in the world would have fixed that on its own. We repaired the loom, fitted a fresh ABS sensor on the other side for good measure, and cleared the dash. Back to normal, and a happy customer who paid for a wiring repair instead of a parade of parts.
Stuck in limp mode after three garages said nothing
One recent customer came to us with an engine warning light and a car that kept dropping into limp mode — practically unusable. He’d already tried three garages, and none of them would even give him an idea of price or availability. Yes. If your car has broken down somewhere safe to work, we can come to you, diagnose the fault and often fix it on the spot. If it needs more than a roadside repair, we will talk you through the options honestly.
